Well some teams have large systems or lots of systems or even both - some dont! Example: Team 72 "The Gregory Team" created a total runtime of 126d 21h 36m 38sec My AMD EPYC 7V12 can do this in 24h ! I have (if needed): 1x Ryzen5 1600 5x Ryzen7 1700 1x Ryzen7 2700 1x Ryzen5 3600 1x EPYC 7V12 12x Opteron 3280 in total 344 Threads -> 344d Runtime in 24h Planet3Dnow has many systems incl. more than 10 AMD EPYC 7V12 Your team could surprise this edition if you choose the right tactics, [P3D] Crashtest! |

----------------------------------------1) Does the scoring count elapsed time, or CPU time? I believe it counts CPU time, correct? I too believe it is CPU time. Here is a FAQ item which somewhat sounds like it. 2) Are tasks counted when they're returned, or when they're validated? Neither of the two. There is an internal stats run at WCG which starts at 00:00 UTC with a then current snapshot of the boinc database. The tasks which were validated between this snapshot and the one 24h before will be taken into account, and user--team affiliations at the time of the snapshot will be applied to all of the results within this stats run. The twice daily Contribution calculations appear at approximately the same time each day. Do they start & stop the race? I'm guessing there's no way to prevent Bunkering. Maybe I should learn how  It's Time-of-Use electric metering in my neck of the woods.
