Re: THOR CHALLENGE [Y5-2020] by team CSF

Hi guys.
I'm on team Rechenkraft.net.
2- Not to be a team rewarding the distributed computing of its volunteers financially.

These puritans are being paid Gridcoin (GRC) for crunching WCG according to the Gridcoin wallet Scaper tab. Team Captains had to Opt-In to be Whitelisted to earn GRC:
UK BOINC Team
[H]ard|OCP
Rechenkraft.net

Message to the following captains :
- UBT - Timbo (team UK BOINC Team)
- HardOCPtest (team HardOCP)
- yoyo_rkn (team Rechenkraft.net)

Can you confirm to me that you are whitelisted at Gridcoin and for World Community Grid? If so, I would see myself in the obligation to convene the selection committee of the THOR Challenge Pure to rule on this situation.

Our WCG team captain told me he didn't know if we were whitelisted, so I dug in our forums, knowing there was some announcement some time ago:
This posting tells us that someone (apparently on the Gridcoin side) automatically whitelisted Rechenkraft.net as beta testers for using Gridcoin without team requirement.
As far as I read in this posting, now everyone should be able to use Gridcoin, so it's not about a team rewarding its members financially.
This might not be something about teams opting-in, but about a system open to anyone. Might be difficult to tell who's using it, I think, and about what to do about that.
I don't use it - too much hassle.

Greetings, Jens

Thanks a lot for your reply, gemini8.
Could you tell your captain that I need him to post this state of affairs here so that this negation is formalized?
