Re: Problems with setting WU cache

It doesn't make sense since BOINC has mechanisms to include not letting resource idle unless you set it so and the log entries saying there is no work for nothing when there is, suggests so. That said, maybe the benchmark values were out causing it to think the runtimes were overlong. You'd see that in the task queue as estimated runtimes being much longer than normal.

Anyway, it's working again so don't fix what's now not broken.

Re: Problems with setting WU cache

Well, those mechanisms didn't work with me. Since I saw my PC underutilised for around half a week now. I haven't made any restrictions to BOiNC either.

I didn't notice what you said about runtimes, hence it stays a mystery to me.
But it's resolved now, so can crunch away again. ;-)

Re: Problems with setting WU cache

It seems to work for me again too. New WUs are downloaded since some hours ago.

Good to see it's all good again with both of you.
