There are many possible antibodies and vaccines being tested at the moment in different countries. I think they will solve it before a project ready here at WCG. If you were talking about a cure, it would be difficult, maybe taking a few years, like Ebola. And after the cure is out, the pandemic is long gone and the Covid-19's already dead or live as another form in some remote area. So, why bother.

F@H has always been running outside of the BOINC framework. It would take a long time to enable it for BOINC.
It's curious they pulled in over 400000 new volunteers in no time Meantime, a big SuperComputer effort is underway joining IBM (already did a run on the most powerful SC there currently is), Google, Amazon and Microsoft. Readying it for distributed computing probable will only slow down the process and add cost at that. |

Would it be possible to get updates as the project clears various milestones in the approval process? Thanks to the control measures in place this project has a particular urgency for a lot of people and typical kept-in-the-dark approach isn't helping people's anxiety.
