Re: Android work on WCG

I run a mix of Asteroids (when it is available) and Einstein when there isn't work here. For anyone who still has the Google Nexus 5 that has a ton of issues with segmentation violation errors (this often manifested at WCG as clean runs of SCC but very high error rates for ZIKA), Einstein is one of the few projects that will run error-free.

I'm curious to see how these handle the hopefully forthcoming MCM WUs, but haven't snagged any beta units on these devices.

Re: Android work on WCG

Since my last post I've been running Demystify, and on devices old enough, SETI@home still. Looking forward to more WCG WUs.

Re: Android work on WCG

Depends on which version of Boinc you have. YoYo works on and up to Android 6.0

Yoyo worked fine on my Android 8.0 Tablet, but after the update to 8.1 i got only errors.
It was the same with some other projects, till 8.0 it works, but with 8.1 startet the problems sad

"Android work units beta test - The batches we've run so far look good. The average CPU time was ~12-13 hours. We expect to be putting Android work units into regular production soon, and we'll make an announcement when we do."

Waiting for Android tasks, too. Thanks for your efforts. Yoyo@home is perfectly working with my Android 7.0 smartphone.
