Just want to confirm . Atm i got one task ARP1_0000015_000_1 ongoing . That 1 on the end is first step ( these two days ) Further days will be ARP1_0000015_000_ 2 and more. Or it will be " signed " some other way ? I would guess that the steps (48 hour increments) will be designated by the third string (ARP1_0000015_000_1) with the final being the task number for that WU as usual. |

You missed the point. WCG has authorized 5 ARP WUs per computer. I've only received 16% of #computers x 5 WUs. Default is 1 in the profiles - per device, at least in mine. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 30, 2019 5:35:13 PM] |

After reading this thread and selecting the new project, I decided to select "No new tasks", and let my PC finish up on other stuff first, since I still don't have confidence in how long each WU takes, and how long the deadline is. I got one beta a few weeks ago, and that took 27 hours. My PC is an old dinosaur from 2011, but last fall I upgraded to 12 GB RAM and a new heat sink (the old one failed). However, it's a Dell with an I7 quad core and 500-watt power supply.

The footnote says there will be GPU WU but none now. There will not be any GPU work for this project. The footnotes referenced on the system requirements page are for 32/64 bit versions and the recommendation to use the setting to leave application in memory when suspended. Thanks, armstrdj |

First one at 12.5% progress, second at 25% progress, third at 37.5% progress etc. After the 1st checkpoint, you have a good estimation how long the whole task will last to finish. |
