I just started running one of these tasks, and the deadline is 2 days, 10 hours, and 48 minutes. That's 211680 seconds. That's a very odd number, and is also rather short for tasks expected to *average* 24 hours. Is this an error? It's a resend. Original 7 days = 604800 seconds * 35% for a resend makes 211680 seconds. That's rather short. I had an ARP-beta task on a machine needing about 100 hours. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Crystal Pellet at Oct 30, 2019 3:20:10 PM] |

So far it looks like about 10 hours per WU.

So far I've only gotten 16% of the max limit. Please generate WUs faster.

My question is about work availability. Will this be a normal project with constant tasks available or something more similar to HSTB?

Falconet, I bet ARP is on the scale of FAH2.
----------------------------------------The footnote says there will be GPU WU but none now. When projects put CPU & GPU WUs in the same bin it leads to conflicting requirements & forces a one-or-the-other choice. Hopefully WCG will keep CPU & GPU WUs in separate bins to maximize flexibility. ![]() ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning |

Just want to confirm . Atm i got one task ARP1_0000015_000_1 ongoing . That 1 on the end is first step ( these two days ) Further days will be ARP1_0000015_000_ 2 and more. Or it will be " signed " some other way ?

So far I've only gotten 16% of the max limit. Please generate WUs faster. New projects are started slow. 5 sounds like a past number given to new hosts, then when results are being returned the number is rapidly upped. With ARP1 that will of course take longer. End of speculation. |

My question is about work availability. Will this be a normal project with constant tasks available or something more similar to HSTB? Eventually there will be a capped number of concurrent area simulations out in the wild after which it will become fully 1 in, 1 out. |
