Run time decrease in MIP1

Hey All,
I know that points and run time are not the prime goal here, but it is interesting to me to track these, which i do in a speadsheet. Yesterday I had more total runtime than is showing today for this project only. I have submitted many valid tasks in the last 24 hours and have less total run to show for it. Nor is this an corrective adjustment action as my totals from the last several weeks tie out. Just putting this out there - now I am quite a bit more skeptical about all of the stats on the my contribution page...

Re: Run time decrease in MIP1

Variations in the run time, points, and results are because of the delayed validation of and verification of units. They do not show up in the totals until they turn valid. There could be a delay of several days between when you report the unit and it turns valid. If, in your spreadsheet, you only track the units which are valid, you will see they track with the totals in the statistics. Hope this helps.
Cheers

Re: Run time decrease in MIP1

Hey Sgt.Joe,

Thanks for the response. I do get how that works - I'm talking about the posted results on the My Contributions page. Yesterday it showed me 3 yrs 178 days and 20 hours. Today it is showing 3 yrs 177 days and 19 hours. I would have expected an increase since i returned valid wu. I have never seen a decrease and i know it's only a day's worth but still not making sense to me. I should have gone up at least 2 days and going down a day is a three day difference.

Bty, i really appreciated all the work you did with the mapping cancer markers updates. Never took the time to officially thank you, but was a pretty close follower of your posts for quite a while, so thanks!

OK, I did not understand that your contribution regressed. That does not make any sense at all. I have never seen that on any of my contributions. If you look under the "My Contributions History" tab, does that show any increase or is it just on the My Contributions face page ?
(Thanks for noticing the updates on MCM. I wish there was enough data to have continued them)
Cheers
