Some of my recent WUs have had no check points built into them. Also some have had very few. As I am now resorting to my laptop. having fried my PC in the heat, I am only running it for 4 or 5 hours at a time so lose too much work when closing down.

In order to overcome this problem, I hibernate my PC instead of shutting it down. However I find a restart is required every few days as Windows ties itself in knots.
