According to information on the official BOINC wiki page: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Creating_custom_installers#Installer_properties ,Version 7.x should use property "ENABLEPROTECTEDAPPLICATIONEXECUTION3" instead of "ENABLEPROTECTEDAPPLICATIONEXECUTION2" to switch between "install as a service" and "standalone installation", but the document "Mass Install Considerations for the BOINC client" hasn't been updated yet.

I've just tested it on my own Windows 10 system, and ENABLEPROTECTEDAPPLICATIONEXECUTION2 didn't work.
