Re: Unexpected Outage

It appears I spoke too early. We a few more issues to address and it will be a couple of more hours before service is restored. Sorry for the delay.

Re: Unexpected Outage

Thanks for the update.

I'm in the middle of provisioning a new system for Distributed Computing and went in to Halt new tasks being downloaded for it to wait a bit before rebuilding it and noticed the completed tasks stuck in the queue. I'll wait a couple more hours then.

I have 98 tasks completed or running on this system so I hope I don't have to dump them all. Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with BOINC/WCG to figure out how/if I can copy the files out fist before reinstalling Debian.

Re: Unexpected Outage

Ok - lets see what happens.

All services are back up and running. Users should be able to upload/download files as well report and get new jobs.

Sorry for the unexpected extended outage and we appreciate your patience and support while we worked through it.

It did appear to be something catastrophic because I couldn't get on the grid at all. I had a lot of uploads that said project backoff, but things seem to be getting better now as we work through them.
