Re: OpenZika Project Update - July 2019 (News on Project Ending)

I just went to the project web site where there is a list of experiments [http://openzika.ufg.br/experiments/ -- it doesn't work in HTTPS ...], but it still lists 444551 as the last batch. Caiti's post expected 20000 new batches, but no confirmation of this number was given when the flow started again.

May we know the current last batch number, please?

Congratulations on taking the project to this level! I wish you much success with the next steps. Look forward to seeing more work if that will help.

Thanks for the information Seippel. Out of interest does anyone know how many tasks/work units are in a batch?

It varies. If it helps, my logfiles say about 10,000 batches have been processed in 2 months. Still about 6700 to go (guesstimated time left: 40 days). Take it with a grain of salt if you wish, as these are only my rough calculations.

Thank you for your information. After some looking in Victors update thread on 13 August on average they are processing 51 batches per day which is what I was trying to work out.

Thanks for that info - form which, I think I'll just be able to reach my 5 year goal for this project. I'd certainly help if either one (or more) of the new Climate projects were to come on stream in the next month or so, but, as there hasn't been a Beta run recently (or not to my knowledge anyway), I'm not too hopeful of this.

smile When Zika ends I will install the DreamLab app on all my Android devices.
I am already running DreamLab on my Ipad. They are doing cancer research.
