3 completed on Linux, 155MB virtual 84MB memory checkpoints about 8 minutes. Similar on other Linux PCs.
1 Windows PC has some, 74MB both checkpoints similar (slower PC).
WTD is 240 secs.

I stopped BOINC client and rebooted system.
Before system restart BIOS checked CPU temperature too high so a bit delay.
After restart tasks resumed OK. Memory 64-77 MB (on Linux virtual mem twice high), Disk usage ~1MB/slot.
Rather frequent checkpoints.
Result upload file: ~3.5K

Got four running on a Windows 7 VM (3 GB RAM, 3.5 GHz). Virtual Memory size ranges from 60-80MB, with working set size about 10MB less. Disk usage is under 1 MB. Checkpoints about every 7 minutes.

Memory usage from low of 50MB to high of 71MB on combo of win7 and linux machines. Checkpoint 7-8 minutes. Look very well behaved. Any of these betas for android?

Yes, these will also go to android on beta.

I'm about to release more since the first group seems to be behaving well.

Thanks,

Re: Smash Childhood Cancer Beta Test June 17, 2019 [ Issues Thread ]

I'm seeing the 32-bit executable running on my Windows computer. Runtime is a little longer compared to the 64-bit running on Windows.

Windows 64-bit: wcgrid_beta24_vina_7.08_windows_intelx86

Edited to Add:

Looking at the C:\ProgramData\BOINC\projects\www.worldcommunitygrid.org directory, I have both 32-bit and 64-bit executables for SCC1 Production:

wcgrid_scc1_vina_7.08_windows_intelx86
wcgrid_scc1_vina_7.08_windows_x86_64

I don't see wcgrid_beta24_vina_7.08_windows_x86_64 for this beta downloaded.

Re: Smash Childhood Cancer Beta Test June 17, 2019 [ Issues Thread ]

Got about 120 WUs across a lot of different hosts, Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, 32bit, 64bit, and all seem to be running quite nicely. Haven't seen any possible hitches just yet, but also have not been able (or rather it has not been necessary) to reboot any of the hosts... cool

Comparing run times Windows <--> Linux each 30 tasks on the same hardware:

Windows avg 2.545 hours <--> Linux avg 1.255 hours
