Hello,
I think something went wrong with my settings. I can't figure out what it is. Previous week my computer executed 50 or 60 tasks and this week it gets none anymore saying "Your current settings do not allow tasks from this project."
I restarted and even reinstalled the client on my device multiple times but still get the message "Your current settings do not allow tasks from this project.". My device is definetely capable of doing work for the projects in question. |

Check Advanced Options on the website, especially
----------------------------------------"Allow research to run on my CPU?" is Yes. Check/clear local options in BOINC manager. Paul.

As I've said, I've created a new profile which i set to "Maximum Output". So there where no custom settings made to that new profile by me. I also set my device to use that profile.

Its just cool how I'm unable to contribute because there is no simple and clear way to reset all settings... Great stuff for a system thats around for so long.

If this situation should recur, please post the messages in the event log settings under the advanced tab. this will help others who are trying to help you diagnose the problem.

Maximum output on the website does not mean they transfer or are used on the client. The client has a reset too, a button right top of the options, computing preferences that would say "Use Web Prefs", which indicates overriding local prefs are used.
