I have this computer running boinc and connecting to WCG. I know my password, otherwise I wouldn't be asking this inane question. But, when I try to add WCG to another computer, using the username/password, it tells me I have a missing or invalid email_addr. If I try to use that combo, email_addr/password, it tells me to check the user name password, and try again.
Sure would like to resolve this, I have 3 more computers I'd like to add, but can't. |

1. What OS?
----------------------------------------2. What app? In other words, are you using the BOINC installer or the WCG installer? 3. What version? 7.14.2 is the latest for Windows/macOS. I don't believe the e-mail address is used in place of the username, explaining why it doesn't recognize email_addr/password. Edit: Although it's very strange that it gives you a "missing or invalid email_addr" error when you try to attach the WCG project with username/password.

Plz, post your logs in this thread.
1. What OS? 2. What app? 3. What version? Debian (7.6.33 installed by apt) and Windows (BOINC 7.14.2) both worked fine... Sure would like to resolve this, I have 3 more computers I'd like to add, but can't. You can try using the Account Key/Weak Account Key to login to your wcg account. |
