So a 7nm CPU.... so my last main cruncher was an I7 2700 it was 32 nm my latest cruncher was a spare pc, a 5820K 22 nm this AMD 2700 is 12 nm... more processing and halfish the electricity. CRAZY Yep. I watched the keynote waiting for news of Zen2 details, but all they said was mid 2019. Looking to build a new system for my oldest son soon, will be waiting for the 3000 series to be released. TR2 would be nice, but motherboards are insane priced and few availability. |
