Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Thanks Kevin for the information!
Is this way how the project is going to run from now on, or just a temporary hiatus?

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Right now there is a big surge followed by a longer than normal gap because we got a bunch at once. Over time this will spread out and become a little more continuous then it is at the moment. If you look at the history for the project: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewP...&numRecordsPerPage=60 you see that we have averaged between 1.5 - 2.0 years per day. As the flow of work between us and the researchers spreads out we should return to a flow like we had before.

The cycle of getting batches from the researchers, running them, sending them back and waiting for more is how the project has pretty much been how the project has been run.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Kevin, thanks for the explanation. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. At least I was able to make it to ruby with this last spurge of HST WUs.

Try https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewP...&numRecordsPerPage=60

Basically: Community --> By Project --> Help Stop TB --> # of records you wish to query

Jean-David

As it had a suffix of 2, it was a re-send. The originals would be 0 or 1.

The number of returns is now falling as crunchers are running out of work. My cache will run dry in 17 hours.

Re: Is anybody still getting work?

Oh dear, looks like a late return from the previous cruncher caused yours to be killed since it hadn't started because the server had what it needed.
