If I remember correctly from the beta, each ARP1 task needed about 1 GB of disk space, maybe a little more. I can't speak for WCG, so this is just an unofficial estimate.

Re: Where are the new Climate projects?

In the beta forum it mentions that each work unit used nearly 750Mb of virtual storage with a working set size of nearly 450Mb.

Re: Where are the new Climate projects?

On my I7-6700 they only checkpointed about every 3 hours. Others also reported very large files to be uploaded - approx 100Mb.

Re: Where are the new Climate projects?

Just reading the EPA has reversed water protection rules to the level of 1986.

We can only work for after 2020, but right now the climate measures are out of control in the US and consequently adversely affecting the whole world.

In reality though, our pollution is NOTHING like China and India and a lot of the 3rd world...
Still, hate to see a reverse of progress.
Soon going to reformat a 6/12 core computer for 28 total threads, ready for that CLIMATE project (or any new project). It's snowing so I can RUN full time! (keep the place warm).
