Those are probably just unfinished working units that were not returned yet, I don't think WCG is sending out any OET WUs anymore

KLiK your calculations are wrong for OET.
There are only resends, so the project will be over in the next few days. |

They have always been wrong. They rely too much on the research page which has been stated to be inaccurate. "Garbage in, garbage out...." as they say.

KLiK your calculations are wrong for OET. There are only resends, so the project will be over in the next few days. They are not wrong, because: 1. OET got lowered from ~21% to ~7%...so 1/3 of weight of the project on the server...check the previous data. 2. OET in my cals is 85,5%, while it's on WCG on 85%...so similar amount of days of processing (my calc) & data (WCG assumption) has been done. 3. my calcs of ECD based on past run days & percentage of done project are on the same date as WCG. All things combined: if I'm wrong, so is WCG. & we're not both wrong! ![]() |

KLiK,
Your calcs may be correct, but that doesn't change the fact that this project is over. |

The weight auf the project wasn't reduced but are only a few resends (yesterday only 5 days runtime) left. Hello all, We have now finished sending out new work for OET1 and are now only sending out resends for workunits that were not completely successfully on another volunteer's computer. Thank you all for supporting this project. Seippel [Edit 1 times, last edit by Stiwi at Nov 23, 2018 4:31:27 PM] |

All things combined: if I'm wrong, so is WCG. & we're not both wrong! ![]() Who says? Why can't you both be wrong? WCG admits it.. They have stated that their research page is less than accurate but it is all they have at this time. You based your calculations off the data on the research page because you have no choice. You have no other information than what WCG provides to you. So, yes, you both are wrong as evidenced by the fact that you both say ~85% when the project is essentially over. However, WCG has also stated that their percentages are of "completed batches". It's not out of the realm of possibility that WCG still has a lot of post-processing to do to "complete" the batches hence they have 85% complete. You, however, don't have any post-processing and you would have no idea how much is left to be processed by WCG, therefore, I don't know what your 85.5% represents. |

"Post" processing
----------------------------------------11/24/2018 0:000:17:50:09 3,512 2 2 validated yesterday, nothing for this morning. Definitely looks like the project could extend into February 2019. Who knows, all these lost batches sitting on a backroom shelf. LoL [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 25, 2018 1:06:25 PM] |
