Can anyone provide a little light on when the new projects will be starting? I hope to hit the ground running crunching them, but I have a queue full of work from other projects. A little lead time would help the planning effort

WCG keeps that information under pretty close wraps. Your best indication of the imminent arrival of any new project is to watch when they start running beta units. Then you can figure the new project may start in a couple of weeks if the beta tests check out OK.

I was wondering as to when we'll start seeing new Beta WU's for these already announced (to a certain extent) projects. It's been quite some time since WCG announced the winners of that competition, so hopefully, it won't be THAT long!!!!

Projects always take at least a few months to onboard, and the three climate/environmental projects are different from anything we've done before in some important ways. (For example, they include providing the researchers with data from The Weather Company, which is owned by IBM.)
