Hello. I installed the app on my computer and it works without any problems. Then i decided to install it on my laptop, and met this problem. I do not get any tasks. Also, i cant see the separate profile for my laptop in my wcg account. Maybe it has some connection with the problem?
I checked the system requirements, they should be okay. Internet connection is also set. Help me please! |

What profile is your laptop showing as having? WCG only have 4 profiles, Default, Work, Home, and School. Go to your device manager and look to see what profile your laptop has. Then look at that profile and check to see what projects the profile is set to work.
Also when you launch BOINC, look at the event log (Tools->event log) or CTRL+Shift+E. You can post the first couple dozen or so lines here and it might help pinpoint a problem. |

I noticed it said no computer ID assigned yet
----------------------------------------I would first stop using the older version of BOINC that was most likely downloaded from here and download one of the newer versions from Berkeley. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php Then, I would remove WCG and then re-add it again to see if it picks things up ok. |

I would also make sure to delete the BOINC data directory after uninstalling the old version too. It may have corrupted files.
----------------------------------------If this is a clean install of Windows, make sure all updates have been run. |
