Ok, I just installed the latest version of the BOINC software from this site... but I have an odd issue. It keeps telling me that I have to reboot to complete the install... problem is, I've rebooted about 10 times and keep getting the same message. I'm stuck and even turning off my AV program and re-installing the software will not fix things. Anyone have a thought about this?

The latest release of BOINC will not successfully upgrade from the original version of BOINC used by this web site. I upgraded my six machines directly from Berkeley site and kept them up to date as new releases became available. I had no problems with any machines. I suspect you will need to uninstall the old version of BOINC completely, and then do a cold install of the latest release.
