 dcs1955, Ariel is the name of a Disney character which I understand is based on what I am: "The Little Mermaid" - the original from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. This is one of his very sad stories which you would not want to read aloud to little granddaughters. It takes a Walt Disney to make them edible for a wider audience. BTW, Base Camper NixChix has a daughter who impersonated 'Ariel' in Disneyland.  |

In 2003 & 2004 we had the pleasure in taking our granddaughter to Disneyland (we lived in S Cal and our GD was visiting from the UK). She had an autograph book and I enthusiastically (my wife just rolled her eyes) helped get signature of disney characters. Ariel was one of her first "princesses". We Hung around for 30 min waiting for Aviatrix Mini Mouse next to her cool plane . Great, clean , well run place but you HAVE to go with a kid.

I believe in chance, fate and coincidences
- we have to find out if it was NixChix's daughter who was Ariel at the time. She might have been Ariel at a later time. I'll direct NixChix's attention to this, dsc1955   |

cool. The autograph search was in Aug 2004. I am sure they had multiple Ariel's just at DL so they could have break.
