I am thinking of swapping out my AMD EPYC 7401P build for a 2990WX build. Would appreciate anyone with a TR 2 build posting some crunching numbers and whether they are using Windows or Linux (I run Linux on my 3 crunchers right now). I am not happy with my current output of my EPYC build. My i9 7980XE build blows it out of the water and my E5-2683 v3 build's PPD is about the same as the EPYC build. Just for curiosity, what memory configuration were you running in your EPYC host?, how many memory channels you filled in? thanks ![]() |

Only two were filled (two 16 GB Crucial sticks for 32 GB total). I think that was a big part of my problem.

Nice! Are you running Windows or Linux? All projects or just one/some?

I'm running Linux Mint 19 and OETs. I'll switch to SCC when I reach 200yrs run time on OETs.

So what is the turnaround-time on those OET packets? you mean the run time ? It can range anywhere from 3hrs 15 minutes to 5 hours and 30 minutes. 5 1/2 hours is the longest WUs I had so far. Most WUs will be done around 4hrs mark |
