Re: Badges for more than 100 years

...every badge adds another layer of statistics to check for them, post a note, and add the badges to our displays.
That's what computers are for.

Re: Badges for more than 100 years

I've got over 223 years in FightAids@Home, still waiting for proper recognition!

If this website was designed with anywhere near the level of professionalism one would expect from an IBM-affiliated project, adding new badges should be a trivial thing to do (involving nothing more than the addition of an extra row or column to two arrays of constants).

Let's stop waiting AND just do it! Just create the badges and you and others can display them in your sig!

Re: Badges for more than 100 years

My guess is that WCG Admin is afraid that new members with a single 4core computer will quit earlier if they see members with 200 years in a project. WCG is caught in this trap where they want many members contributing even a little bit all the while knowing that the minority of a few over-achievers are carrying the majority of the load.

I dont believe they cannot find the time to spend the 4 hours to add the badges. It's a policy decision not development decision. IMHO
