Re: All devices have the name "android".

Hi Glen,

Thanks for response. Unfortunately I can't see any stats for my Windows/Android hosts. I checked client settings on both Windows/Android and I can't see option to report anywhere.

Any advice?

Thanks

Hi Johnny
I will walk you through how I do it.
1. Go to BOINCstats page , and enter your BOINC name. Press "search"
2. Click on the little blue and white box on the right hand corner, to the right of where it says "BOINC combined without ASIC"
3. Again, on the page that comes up, click on the bottom right hand blue box, in the row marked World Community Grid.
4. On this page, somewhere near the middle, look for a row titled "Number of hosts". It will show a number, but only if you have not ticked "hide hosts" when you set up your WCG account (you can change it from hide to visible on the WCG page at any time) Click on the number.
5. the page that comes up will have all the cpu info, Android version, number of cores etc for each individual Android device listed separately.

There is probably an easier way to navigate to this page, but you only have to do it once, then bookmark it.

Hope it works for you!

Re: All devices have the name "android".

Hi Glen,

I managed to find it myself yesterday, but forgot to post here.

In my case I had 'Choose to display or hide your data' under WCG profile settings set to 'Hide'.

Once changed to 'Display' all hosts now show fine.

Thanks for your help.
