First units return error

I am running BOINC on linux and finding that the first batch of WUs downloaded after boot always error out. Subsequent WUs are crunched normally. I have yet to determine whether this is specific to OET units.

Anyone encounter this before? A cursory googling does not reveal anything.

An example:

<core_client_version>7.8.4</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
process got signal 11</message>
<stderr_txt>
SIGSEGV: segmentation violation

</stderr_txt>

Re: First units return error

I am going to speculate that BOINC is attempting to start before the entire boot sequence has completed. If you could delay the start of BOINC for a short time you may be able to avoid this.
