I wanted to introduce WCG to a new PC. It was impossible with my former username (vep, introduced in 2004, when it was still possible). As I was unable for reasons explained above to change. I sought help with the technicians. And eventually, I got a username with 6 characters.

Now, where all the fuss begon, I cannot log on with my new username either on my new PC.

Eventually, it works on both PCs. However, on the new PC, with 8 channels Intel, it runs on 1 channel. I don't know why. On my old PC, it runs with 8 WU's on the new one a single WU at the time.
