Power9 performance on world community projects - reviews, thoughts and comments please
the power 9 is in the news and we would like to hear about users.. Linux, Mac, Windows and Android that are testing the Power9 compared to the other HPC offerings like the AMD Ripper and server processors... or intel and ARM Thunder2! What are the HPC Community of boinc server cluster's conclusions so far ? |

Hey QuantumEthos, I believe there may be some confusion on this topic.
Currently, World Community Grid only has work units for the X86, X86-64, and ARM ( running android) architectures. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq The Power9 architecture is not supported by World Community Grid, and it probably will never be because it is a CPU architecture tailored for super-computing environments.
