It's good to hear that wind power is gaining popularity in the USA.
I know the orders for wind turbines of the MHI-Vestas make for the US market are ticking up. And, yes, it's normal business practice for them to produce the blades locally because of transportation costs. In which state do you live Citizen 422, if I may ask? I'm sorry to hear a bald eagle was felled by a wind turbine. Those wind turbines ought to yield to bald eagles that have all that symbolism in them. Where I used to live I had a swan colliding with the electricity lines leading to my home. The swan was killed, the lines broke, and consequently the power was gone.  |

Iowa, but shhhh.... don't want the politicians to find out and start knocking on my door seeking votes.
Those blades are so big, every time I see one go under an overpass part of me wonders if it's going to fit. |

Very sad to see Mermaid degradations

At my annual checkup my wonderful new doctor found a dissonance when listening to my heart and ordered an echocardiography  Wind turbines provide 2,856 MW of our consumption of 4,712 MW at this moment far more than 50% - and in all fairness I must say, it's fairly windy tonight.  |
