Started to use Vivaldi browser, 2 months or so, and almost all sites I get the question asked if to remember the sign-in information, if needed. Then the option is to do so or not save and store the NEVER Save (protect online banking et cetera). Not at WCG. The question is never asked, the 'remember' box does nothing. Sign out, and open WCG website login box, and only member name is offered in information (from the stored forms info function), but no password is filled. Researching this, stumbled on a Reddit discussion, suggestion the form has an issue, though when programming this into my Hunting tool, it seemed like WCG is using common identifying tags.
Revisited the all new Firefox (57, which shunned many of my past extensions), and there the remembered info still works... click the name field, member name list is opened, pick and the password is filled. The Vivaldi stored password list is protected by the system password i.e. no risk from a visitor snooping on private info. Enter chrome://settings/passwords in address box to start. When visiting this page, WCG is not listed as either stored nor in the Never save section. Anyway, it's tedious for the WCG password not to be remembered in Vivaldi (1.13.1008.30 now) and cant find anything in the way of forcing it. BTW, to pitch this browser, it has side-by-side webpage function... great when comparing sites or writing something using information from another web page. Also has beyond protection against IP leaking https://www.ghacks.net/2016/07/11/vivaldi-webrtc-leak/ as standard |

I do have Vivaldi installed after you mentioned it a while ago, thanks, but also the LastPass password manager. That combination works ok for WCG login. The usual question: have you tried with no extensions loaded, if you have any?
Mostly, I'm still using Firefox 57 with the Tree Style Tabs add-on, as I need good tab management (typically 50-75 tabs in use throughout a day). Vivaldi's Tab Stacking and the new Window Panel are nearly as good, but the Panel takes up more horizontal space for the same content, and has a few niggles for me. Loading and browsing speeds are similar, and of course I'm interested in background CPU usage - Vivaldi might win there yet. |

Makes no difference, with or without extensions, WCG the one and only site not asking, not storing. Vivaldi remembers the member names that were ever typed into the username field [forms], but not the password. I like this browser because it has many things standard such as mouse gestures and more without extensions that any other browser needs many for, like on FF I had about 25, V just 8, most notably No Script Lite, AdBlock, Avast Online Security, RSS Feed Reader
