What if you forgot/discontinued the old email address of an account?

@admin/tech

Following this thread on the subject, this thread https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=12071 discusses how to get back into your account if you've discontinued the use of an email address (Compuserve went belly up e.g.). Recovery at other/full BOINC projects is still possible by logging in with the authenticator code, if still having a backup or running a long forgotten 'set-and-forget' client. Question to fill is, how does one get back in, with that email address 'lost'? (WCG uses only member name/password to sign in).

From Help

"I tried to recover my password via email but did not receive it. What is wrong?
The most common reason for this happening is that the email address in your profile is not correct. When registering, you were asked to provide an email address and you may have mistyped your email address, or your email address may have changed since then. If the email address is incorrect, and you no longer have access to the old email address, please use the Contact Us form to receive additional assistance."

Does not help if you forgot what email address it was!
