Good morning crunchers, I have calculated the possible completion date of this project based on the pending WUs at http://openzika.ufg.br/experiments/. If you do not add more WU (which I do not know) the project is about to end. My estimate is as follows:
Completion of protection: Last lot WU received: 286,927 Last expected WU lot: 292,511 Batches to send: 5584 Units per Lot: 1000 WU to send: 5,584,000 WU average per day in the last week: 276,000 Earning Units / WU Mean in last week: 20.23 days Estimated Completion Date WU: November 19. If someone in the project can deny this data or communicate that more WU will be added, we would appreciate it. |

See https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/api/project?shortName=zika for an officious Estimated End Date (EED), a finger in the air as work gets added to projects, almost without exception.
----------------------------------------BTW, there was no 'last 30 days work" alert by the techs, suggesting they know more than what shows on your linked page. [Edit 1 times, last edit by SekeRob* at Oct 29, 2017 9:10:23 AM] |

They will add many more lots, because in http://openzika.ufg.br/experiments/ there are only lots for 20 days ...
I do not give ECD much credibility, it's not the first time the% has nothing to do with reality |

I'm just saying that in 20 days, the WUs of the last lot indicated in http://openzika.ufg.br/experiments/ Your link is wrong Works for me, albeit in Vivaldi the page reply is not formatting the xml like Firefox does, but it's still EED: August 27, 2020 (just copied it as reference to see if it changes as time passes, else it indicates it's a dead-plug for WCG till when they'll (the project owners), think to continue the research, thusly it just being another round of adding Format per IE/Edge/Vivaldi {"project":{"completionDate":null,"estCompletionDate":"2020-08-27T00:00:00","id":121,"name":"OpenZika","overviewUrl":"\/about_us\/viewNewsArticle.do?articleId=480","releaseDate":"2016-05-18T00:00:00","shortName":"zika","statisticsUrl":"\/stat\/viewProject.do?projectShortName=zika","status":"proj_stats.active"}} Format per Firefox project Meantime, work for batch 288721 is in me cache. BTW, it's a little bit funny to see 20 days (20.2) projected on Oct.29, and then 20 days (19.8) on November 5. There must have been a serious slowdown . In Earnest, maybe you can do a graph like Sgt.Joe does for MCM, which shows how the EED is a moving target. |
