Is this currently possible?
I'm not sure what is going on but as of late, on the BAM website, clicking find account at WCG is telling me the password is incorrect with the last attempt. I'm not sure how to fix this as the password is the same across all projects as stated in BAM's FAQ.
Now for some general boinc questions as it relates to these projects.
Can I set specific hosts to only work on specific projects? E.g. I have a little Intel Atom tabblet that I would like to work on Cancer. I have an AMD FX8350 that I would like to work on aids research, that sort of thing. is this possible? Also, on boincs website, I am not seeing GPU support in world community grids listing, is this relatively new? If so, what GPU is recommended? I have both an AMD Radeon hd 6450 and gtx 670M, as well as various Intel integrated GPU's...
Sorry for all the questions. I've just let boinc run on all my devices with different projects but now I'd like to dig into it a little more and figure out exactly what works optimally as far as times to finish WUs on different devices so I can help as much as I can, so here is yet one more question.
Apart from trying different projects on different devices, is there a table of the average time to complete a WU across all projects to see what project what fit a specific device? For instance a low powered Intel atom would likely not be suited for climate prediction as one of my AMD desktops is listed as taking 10 days to complete one of them...does this make any sense at all?
Again, I am so sorry for posting so many questions. I hope I haven't asked something that was already covered elsewhere.
