DNS resolution would not be impacted by the SSL certificate change (unless BOINC is providing misleading error messages). On that machine can you open a command prompt or terminal window and run the following two commands: ping www.worldcommunitygrid.org ping download.worldcommunitygrid.org and then post the results here? thanks, Kevin |

Only that machine, the second had no hickups, cycled the router and took the affected machine out of standby, and it seemed to be happy uploading and getting new work, after one more hostname resolving fail
