Some mediatek have 120degC.
----------------------------------------Once I saw even 90-95 on a Samsung. But without root, most of the mediatek start to throttle around 80 |

...what is the designed Tjunc for Arm Cortex-A5? Nope... Cortex-A5 doesn't have a designated Tjunc Tjunc is defined by fablesses like AMD, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nvidia, Mediatek, Apple, HiSilicon(海思麒麟), Xilinx, etc. ,and realized by foundries like TSMC, GlobalFoundries, Samsung and so on. |

You're saying nonsense, as every board is tested, before putting on the market. So are the CPUs. We (in the company, which is World known) always ask from supplier to confirm that we can heat up the board up to certain level & also test that in "warm chamber". So I asked guys, & have found some data about MQX Android boards here: https://web.archive.org/web/20140227122009/ht...rtech.com/list.asp?id=432 Maybe that can help someone, as when you remove the battery you can put in more temperature into the system. I'm running them on 60°C, even though they should run up to 70°C. |

As in my country "old mobiles" are not so reliable & not so cheap (new ones cost at least 70€) - link; so decided to go the other way & get myself some new Android TV, photo:
----------------------------------------Right now, as we speak both Android TV boxes are working, both on each TV set. No messing up with batteries, no problems with overheating. Only other thing installed was "mouse" on each of them (& those I have plenty off). COST: about 20€ Check on link here. How much you can get on those Android TV's? - data from old MXQ is here - new data from MXQ Pro is going to be posted ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by KLiK at Feb 4, 2019 11:12:49 AM] |

Can you still use them as a TV box while crunching? I have thought about trying out some of those TV boxes and cutting cable, but haven't yet. I have seen octacore systems for fairly cheap here in the US.

But they will be slower than before, especially if you play HQ videos on it. Though what I want is flash regular Linux OS to those tv boxes and set them up like a small file server... |

2019 May update
----------------------------------------Just went back to my original idea with power source outputing 3.9V. The diode solution is not so good since I guess the ripple current burned some fused in the 5 port USB hub. I still feel that a router with openwrt should be good enough to keep all of the 20+ devices always connected, without limiting the bandwidth for my personal devices. Still, 100y+ OpenZika with help from 12phones + 10sticks octo cores |

Hi, sorry for digging out this corps but nobody seems to look at the instructables page anymore.
----------------------------------------I have a LG H 735 G4s and when I measure the 4 pins I get several different voltages: 4.2, 1.7 and 2.5. Do you think that I can still get it to work with only one power supply? Here's the table of the different voltages I measure on the phone's pins when I connect it with a USB charger: [Edit 1 times, last edit by aexl at Nov 28, 2020 9:51:44 AM] |

Sorry about late replying, did not got emails when users asked question in like two years on instructables.
----------------------------------------I responded to you on the instructables page, basically the pins are the ones which show the voltage in the range of 3.7-4.35V |
