Everyone,
There were some OS fixes applied last night that resulted in the maintenance window being longer then normal. This would cause agents returning results during that maintenance window to give the agent paused message. The systems are functioning normally now so the agents should be returning results and downloading new ones. If your agent continues to have problems, then please post to this thread and let us know. I have one system paused as well and am sending an e-mail to all of the techs. I think we are seeing the elusive networking problem at the servers again.

I have been getting the agent paused message for a few days now, so my computer has not been doing any work. It appears unable to send/recieve data to the server. I have disabled the DEP in windows XP, and I also have tried disabling my firewall, and still was unable to connect. Anybody else having these issues? current time is 7:55PM CDT Brianmn - your report of problems occurred prior to the change window. We did post a message we just put the wrong date: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=3997 It now has the proper date of Oct 2nd on it. |

I just forced my second system to retry the connection and it was not successful and returned to the "paused" state. |

I have two agents in the paused state. Forcing a connect results in the same state.

Too bad it was not posted properly with the date. I would have merely shut dowm my PC. When is the next maintence times?? Do you do this every Sunday? Thank You. |

It is 3 hours past the maintenance window and I still have a system in the paused state even after forcing it to attempt to connect. Has the maintenance completed? If it has, we appear to be having the same elusive problem we have seen in the past couple of weeks. If it has not completed, please let us know.
