No...I have not figured it out yet. On my new Lenovo Yoga I cannot get more than 27% CPU. On all of my other computers they run flat out at 100%

What are the CPU temperatures? Could the chip itself be throttling back cpu cycles to avoid overheating. I use tthrottle even on my desktop.

This is the picture I'd like to see of that new 7700, 8 core device (Open Task Manager Performance tab > click Open Resource Monitor at bottom > Click CPU tab > Click Views button top right and select small to get a picture of all cores with their individual load). Mine runs 12.1% per BOINC thread, but graphs at right show 100% load per-core, because besides BOINC there's other stuff running, such as the MS configurable Performance Monitor allowing much deeper digging.)
----------------------------------------![]() PS 88% Total because I've set that in the power management to run at 3Ghz instead of 3.4Ghz... [Edit 1 times, last edit by SekeRob* at May 30, 2017 8:15:56 AM] |
