after latest Windows 10 update, Boinc no longer working as a screen saver or if you have the restriction "Suspend when computer is in use" option is clicked.

The screensaver is a known issue... visit Berkeley forums, or search these. 'Show Graphics' for a running task does though work for me on this 'Creators' release, though it's far from being a finished release.
Not pausing, well either you have changed/not set 'compute according preferences' and or one of your peripherals like joystick give false 'in use' signal... unplug. Anyway, it works well for me, to include pauses when the non-BOINC CPU use is over 50% (per setting). |
