Re: Has the cup runneth empty on OpenZIKA WU's?

Thanks uplinger for that quick response - my buffers are filling with Zika as I write this..

Hmm... Just relying on an alert when things go wrong is suspect as you have just found out - you need the occasional 'anded' OK to ensure that everything in the chain from the alert generating mechanism to the recipient is working surely?

Again, my apologies for the disruption of work units. As of right now, ZIKA work is loading on the grid.

Thanks,
-Uplinger
Thanks for checking! It seems the first hosts are getting OpenZIKA again...

Re: Has the cup runneth empty on OpenZIKA WU's?

Tony,

In the past I have had alerts that would warn me about work being low. However, I recently changed cell providers and those alerts stopped, I don't get alerts when things are working well, so I assumed things were working well. I will be working on Monday to get those straightened out.

Again, my apologies for the disruption of work units. As of right now, ZIKA work is loading on the grid.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Maybe you need to have open watch of the competitions in the future?

Or will the change to cloud solve that?
wink

Or that the Pentathlon will most likely have WCG every two years beginning of May and WCG Birthday challenge every November. Just put it in a reminder on the calendar. ;p

Re: Has the cup runneth empty on OpenZIKA WU's?

WCG has been chosen in BOINC Pentathlon by SETI.Germany. Therefore, many teams are bunkering the WU's. Race is running until 19th May. As you can see by visiting the link https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/api/project?shortName=zika time remaining to complete this project is lowering. Greets smile
