:((] I have been trying to download WCG on to my PC now running Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.1 but with no success. I have also got many others who are also running the same distro and following the your web page instructions and they are also unable to to download on Linux Help For Beginners web site who are experienced Linux Mint users and I think your instructions for the Terminal are out of date. Please could have a look and see if your Command line commands are completable for Linux Mint Cinnamon 18.1. Both I and those I also are using the same distro are able to participate in WCG.

BOINC is available in the repositories. Can't you download from there?
