Can or does the BOINC Manager (and its projects and tasks) run on Windows 10 while Windows is in a logged-off state?
(Some software can do so, e.g., the disk backup I use.) Many thanks! |

Yes, it requires the "Service Install" - see the FAQ BOINC: Installing the client (paragraph 4 for later versions).

Have you tried installing/running BOINC as a service?

Just note that BOINC cannot use the GPU when it's a service install; not a problem for WCG right now, but it could be in the future or affect other projects that you crunch for.

Thank you all very much!
I've removed and reinstalled as a service. It seems to be running well. Thanks again. |

GPU projects typically have problems with service installs. FYI in case you're running one or WCG has another in the future.
