Per topic: haven't had any new tasks from Fight AIDS @ Home in over a week even though it appears tasks are still being sent out in general. No apparent connection problems, no notices, never had any problems before, no apparent new changes that would affect this. Any ideas? Windows 10

Hi professorchaos,
----------------------------------------As can be seen from this page, just recently there's been a huge drop-off in the number of results being returned for the Fight Aids @ Home Phase 2 project (down from ~60,000 results / day, to around a tenth of that over the last few days). This indicates that currently, there's an issue with this particular project - which could be the reason for the Beta testing that's currently ongoing. As I haven't been following the beta's in depth (just know that there's some going on at the moment), I can't really give a more indepth explanation as to the what and why - but please feel free to pop over to those boards and have a quick read through. I'm sure that this will be a temporary blip, and that in due course, normal service will be resumed. In the meantime, what you could do, is to go into your Projects selection screen and ensure that the "If there is no work available for the project(s) I have selected above, please send me work from another project." box is ticked. PS. Admins, would this thread be better served in the FA@H Phase 2 forum?, if so, could you please arrange for it to be moved there. ![]() |

OK, thanks for the perspective. Wish we could see more frequent news in general. Is there a way to choose from which project I get work?

Is there a way to choose from which project I get work? yes there is - although only to a certain level. If you goto your My Projects page, you can select which projects you wish to receive (or not receive - by unticking the box(es)). Please note though, that, if you've got (say) 2 projects selected (ticked), you won't necessarily receive an equal amount of those WU's - as it all depends on what's available at the WCG servers to be sent out at that time. Such as, at the moment, there appears to be a shortage of FA@H2 WU's, and I know for certain that there's a shortage of HST WU's (I'm attempting to collect a few of these myself). Also, CEP2 has been set as 'Intermittent", as there's currently a long-standing issue with that project (hopefully, soon to be resolved after a round or two more of Beta testing). ![]() |

Of course, but no way to have it automatically stop when FA@H tasks return as with the option to which you previously referred? |

In my experience...no way to do that.

Would a tiered thing be so difficult to implement? Like if nothing available from a, then b, and if nothing from b, then c, etc...
