Thread: new installation linked to wrong team |

I downloaded and installed WCG onto a new device from the home page using my existing sign-on and password. I currently have two other devices running successfully and managed by BOINC BAM stats with a team name "Pennsylvania" My newest install however did not ask for a team name upon installation and I assumed it would attach to my existing one based on my sign in. Instead it has connected to team "IBM" and I have no visibility to the device or a profile for it within WCG, only in BOINC stats. It appears result are accumulating to team IBM but my User-ID is associated with team Pennsylvania. I tried to un-install then re-install, but same result. The account and team on the projects ATB show as IBM. any idea how to fix this? I am hesitant to sign in and "Quit Team" as my working sing-in links correctly to Pennsylvania.

I have little doubt the account on that client is also not yours. (Though you said to have gotten the download from the front page), did you launch the correct installer on your drive from the WCG website, Berkeley or the IBM internal catalog? Latter I think is pre-configured to set up for user/team IBM. Check in client under the project tab what really is the account.
