I have been trying to contribute to the TB project for over two months now, yet I still haven't received any work.
I have TB selected under projects I'm willing to contribute to, but nothing is showing up. |

This project's workunits are very sparse.
----------------------------------------I have Zika and HST selected, and I guess for every 60 or 70 Zika WU's, I get 1 HST. Unless you select HST only and the "if there is no work available for the selected projects, send work from other projects" setting, you won't have much luck. I've been running a combo of Zika and TB WUs now too. What I've been doing lately to get more TB WUs is I'm setting my Max buffer to 3 days, pick up 3 days of Zika first, then set my settings to TB only. Every so often I'll happen to pick up a handful of TB WUs as the Zika WUs work down. I'll then let it work down for a few days and repeat the process. A bit manual, but maybe 2-3 changes to the device profile a week seems to do the job to keep a good mix of both WUs. Depending on the mix your trying to work on, a similar process above will get you some TB WUs to work on. Hopefully down the road there will be a bigger number of these TB WUs coming through on a regular basis and then you can get just set the device profile to all the projects you want to crunch and you'll get a nice mix of all of them. Yes it would be nice to treat this project like the others....it has been very awkward and frustrating otherwise.

It's not a problem that's going to be solved.
It's simply that there are very few work units to go round, so your chance of getting one is very small. |
