Is IBM running any of their POWER 8 for WCG?

Just curious, considering how powerful they are. Plus currently I am a big supporter to everything not Intel (to stimulate the competitions) (I still like intel as a company :)

If the hardware and OS thereon meets the.(minimum) system requirements, it could be, but doubt it: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewSe...=Minimum+%2B+requirements

none of project is compiled to run on RISC architecture - so short answer is NO for computing.

some wcg parts are running on POWER systems (OS AIX)
