The "(unknown error) - exit code -1073740940 (0xc0000374)" I found in my Google search history, then no hits, now no hits.

Saw one in the queue of this 'fly-by-night' beta, running 20 minutes on my laptop [2Ghz] and at 10%... ~3 hours 25 is the target. Fair time, except, probably the fpops in the header are something from the previous beta feedback, so without <fraction_done_exact/> set it's going for 34 minutes to complete. After adding beta23 to the app_config, get 3:06 more to go after 30 minutes... yes <dont_use_dcf/> is still doing a fine job of disabling the learning mode that BOINC used to have.

Percent progress used to be a good starting point on AD Vina to compute TTC, but not on this one.

10% at 20 minutes, (10 min per 5%)
20% at 50 minutes, (15 min per 5%)
25% at 85 minutes. (35 min for 5%)
40% at 164 minutes (26 min per 5%)

Extrapolating from 25%, TTC went from 3:25 to 6 hours. That's going to cause a lot of initial overcaching with the DCF switched off.

Edit: added 40% progress. No linearity it seems with how task is progressing. TTC is now at 7:26 hours

Looks like somewhere halfway, the runtime stabilized at ~7.30 hours, now at 58%. That's a tad (3x) longer than the current OET.

All mine were batch 000000011 or 000000012 and have all completed in 2.0 to 2.8 hours; three now Valid, rest PVal.

So here's a little theory: The original beta was it seems highly variable in runtimes [did not look in detail]. Now the programmers ran statistics to determine how many jobs needed to be cut into a single task to arrive at a object runtime average. Just plugging the number of how many (32 in this case) does not really resolve the task to task variability as the distribution of longs and short jobs is not even and so the output in the slot tells:

Note the individual task minutes varying! Ever deeper into the task, the TTC went up and up, to hit 8 hours plus, then the last section it raced, and is now about to finish in 6:27 hours. Tell BOINC how to comprehend that and let members understand. It's now 15:32 nearing 100% but as yet it has not written the end tag... Maybe it's time to unzip an old v6 client package and paste the various elements needed to get it running again and retake control of the DCF. Maybe it's time WCG builds a new client cum the old UD agent. We don't need all that confusing info :P)
