Hey, long time cruncher, new to Gridcoin, I installed the wallet, synced, joined team and as I far I understand it I need to activate at least one time the beacon to start getting rewards for crunching.
----------------------------------------Does anyone know how much GRC is required for it? And is anyone willing to lent me the necessary amount to start getting rewards? Hello,
----------------------------------------thinking about Gridcoin, and I think there is one important question: I assume that using Gridcoin slows down the scientific calculation done on BOINC because Gridcoins themselves have have to be "mined" (in other words: calculated), so part of the processor's resources is consumed by Gridcoin, and there are less ressources left for the scientific projects.
