Dear World Community Grid volunteers,
I am pleased to announce the beginning of a new project, Help Stop TB. This project involves taking a close look at the bacterium that causes tuberculosis, one of the world's deadliest infectious diseases. Thanks to the massive computational power of World Community Grid, my research team and I will be able to closely study this bacterium and gather data that will help scientists develop new treatments. Usual questions: How long do the WUs typically run and how often do they checkpoint?
Also what's the typical data download and upload per WU? |
