there is a problem in science called 'replication', when someone tries to duplicate the results claimed in a previous report.
----------------------------------------not long ago, it was shown that between 30% and 70% of respected published results could not be reproduced, and not even close. examples: "When drugs company Amgen tried to replicate landmark publications in cancer drug development, 47 out of 53 could not be replicated. When Bayer attempted a similar project on drug target studies, 65 percent of the studies could not be replicated." with our crunching here, there should be no question about the results we produce. the worst that could happen is someone misunderstands or misapplies the data, but i don't think that is likely to happen.
